Total Access Scaffolding Ltd Privacy Policy for Clients

It is the requirement of the new General Protection Data Regulation (GDPR) that came into force May 2018; that all companies that hold any personal data must notify clients and potential clients that any personal information collected will remain confidential and is stored securely to protect privacy. Should Total Access Scaffolding Ltd ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Name and payment details

  • Contact information including email address

  • Demographic information such as address and postcode.

 

What we do with the information we gather

This information to solely kept on file for the purpose of fulfilling the order, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • To process your order and obtain payment

  • Internal record keeping

  • HMRC Accounting - Tax purposes

 

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

  • All orders received containing home addresses and other personal information are not shared with any third party and held in a secure place to fulfil the contract between Total Access Scaffolding Ltd and the client.

  • Our professional accountant & book keeper also need the basic information for us to complete our tax returns.

  • Total Access Scaffolding Ltd will need to keep copies of your order for a minimum of six years for HMRC accounting (Tax purposes).

  • Total Access Scaffolding Ltd's IT system is secured by an anti-virus and password protected devices and all emails are also password protected.

  • Order payments received and payment details are kept on file for the purpose of fulfilling payment and order requests. This information is not shared or distributed to other people.

  • We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so.

  • Your information will never be sold or given to a third party, with the exception of plant hire companies who will need an address to deliver the plant directly to site and requires it to be signed for.

 

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the General Protection Data Regulation (GDPR) Regulations April 2016
